Applications Open
The Hunter Family Foundation is proud to launch our first year of Compass Scholarships through bold.org.
As college has grown increasingly expensive and complicated, many students are met with little to no assistance, which can place college out of reach. These awards seek to help current African-American college students navigate the journey of continuing their education in the face of high costs and declining support.
In this inaugural year, we are awarding at least two deserving undergraduate students with a $2,000 scholarship towards their education. Applications close on May 13, 2026 and the recipients will be announced on June 14, 2026.
